    That's hard to watch because he teased us.

    For one game he looked like the Brandon Roy of old.

    For the rest of the series he was a liability on both ends of the floor.

    I didn't see anything in the captions about him having a career-altering knee problem or that he was basically invisible for most of the series.

    The captions are fine. Roy was motivated by embarrassment and humiliation. He had been asking for more time, McMillan finally gave it to him, he did nothing with it, he was practically crying from the way people and the media worded their remarks because he still thought of himself as a prideful starter, in the next game McMillan returned to giving him limited minutes, and that's when he exploded with this one quarter when we were about to lose the playoff series.

    He may again do it once or twice per season, but it will take extraordinary circumstances like those.

    It just makes me sad. You can see he's got the heart and guts to take over a game and win it but his body betrays him. It's frustrating to see how good he could've been but never will be.
