if MM feels offended by "true statements phrased as jokes", that's his call. Personally, I'd rather hear 9 rumors that don't end up happening to eventually get to the one scoop that does. Especially since the source (MM in this case, not his friends) are much more interested in the Blazers and what they're doing than Bucher, Sheridan and the like. If I had to rely on them during the draft, trade deadlines, etc. I might go bonkers. I like coming here and seeing what insiders are hearing. So please don't let the jokers stop you.

Look for the Big 12 to add BYU before the weekend is out. This is something the Pac should have done years ago. Larry Scott should have told Cal to get over itself and allow a religious affiliated school to join
Forgive my ignorance on this, but I was under the impression that Utah was about as LDS-affiliated as BYU? Or since it's public it's easier for Berkeley to accept?
