I'm rooting for the Tigers from here on out. If they finish #1 that only helps our cause (as long as they're the only loss) for the rest of the season.
a rematch in the title game would be pretty weak though...both 13-1 or whatever with a loss to the other team if the ducks win lol
9th seems reasonable. I do think LSU is the best team in the nation right now... Not sure about a rematch. If we continue the RB is going to be awesome. Anyone seeing a Ducks vs Badgers RB? How about this...Boise St vs LSU in the NC game? LOL. Prob won't happen...but, tell me to shutup. This is crazy talk with so much football to be played and so much season to enjoy!! Go Ducks!
I think when all is said and done in the SEC, we've got a good shot at climbing into the top four or five.
I put LSU #3 at very best. No disrespect, but take away our freshman fumbles and we win that game. They have not overly impressed me. 1) Alabama 2) Oklahoma 3) LSU
You're probably right, but at this point I'd rather LSU beat out Bama if we have any shot at the NC. We need LSU to be our only loss and we need them to have a great year so we don't look bad for losing to them. I happen to think that Bama is the best as well. That team is so stacked.
Nice to see another Pac12 team crack the top 25. ASU @ 25. Edit - After posting this, I realized that ASU knocked USC out of the poll.
I'm so confused...LSU #3 at the highest? Not impressive? How does one figure? LSU kicked the snot out of #3, then went on the road to beat two top 25 teams...one of them #16 by a margin of 47-21. Not only are they 4-0, they are only allowing 14 points a game, despite playing some of the best offenses in the nation. Despite the amazingly tough schedule, their offense is avg 39 pts a game. Not impressed? Sure, Alabama is 4-0 but they have only played ONE top 20 team and they've played Kent State, N. Texas. You kidding me? Alabama has played crap teams, yet their offense ranks just above Bowling Green. Yup. You read that correctly. Despite playing less than impressive teams, their scoring avg sits at #21 nationally. Get this...FIU and Houston scored either as many or more points against The Mean Green as Alabama did. That's crappy! Oh, and that spectacular defense? Ranks behind Temple in points allowed - despite playing teams like...Kent St and N. Texas. Oklahoma has only won 3 games, two of which were to unranked teams that go by the name Tulsa and Missouri. Using the same logic, Oklahoma should have, and would have lost the Florida State game were it not for 3 FSU turnovers. Still, was a close game. They had to rally to beat a now 2-2 Missouri team and Landry threw 2 picks. Oklahoma's offense sits between Rutgers and Hawaii in total offense and they have 13 measly TD's on the season (GT, a 4-0 team has 29 TD's). Neither of these teams deserve to be above LSU. AP voters have it correct, IMHO. The teams that LSU has beat have a combine record of 10-4 Alabama 8-8 OK 5-7 Ya'll er funny!

Don't be shocked if Bama loses in the swamp this weekend and turns around and beats LSU later.... There's a ton of football to be played still. Nebraska plays in Wisconsin and I bet that winner loses in Michigan... The ducks could be right back in this thing.....
I think the NC is probably doubtful at this point, however, I could totally see us in the top four by the end of the season and I'm alright with that.
Florida has two world class sprinters at the WR's spots. I expect Bama's secondary to be tested and the SWAMP is a tough place to win. The Badgers/ Huskers game should be a great one too! BTW- Stanfords schedule is really very easy this year outside of us! They don't even have to play ASU.... WOW!
