Joe Warren is Bellator's brash featherweight champion. He fancied his chances in Bellator's bantamweight tournament and talked a lot of trash about opponent Alexis Vila, a 40-year old Olympic wrestler from Cuba. The knockout was Vila's sixth straight and looks to be a Knockout of the Year candidate. Warren spent a few minutes unconscious after the punch and wept when he awoke.

Great refereeing, BTW. He jumped in there like a man missile and saved Warren from being hit a second time while unconscious. After calling him a 'juiced-up Cuban' Warren's lucky Vila didn't give him the flying forearm smash Hendo landed on Bisping after his knockout.

I've met Warren a couple of times. Used to like him but a few times after he won the belt that I talked to him, his ego was huge. Glad he got KTFO. I was close to putting $50 on Avila to win, but didn't know enough about him to commit it. Hindsight is 20/20, right?
