why can't those wearing bedroom slippers just start training for solar and wind panel engineering and construction? http://collegeinmypajamas.com/
He was speaking at a Congressional Black Caucus event to an audience that was overwhelmingly black. A "rally the troops" speech to the base that is even getting sick of his incompetence. Also, how is PASS THIS BILL!!! doing these days? Did it pass the House? Has it been introduced in the House?
You and I both know when the president speaks, his speeches reach much farther than the given audience. If you really think Obama was only speaking of Black people when addressing the Congressional Black Caucus, you really aren't understanding politics. I don't know how pass the bill is going, but did you know that Andre Miller has never been past the first round of the playoffs?
I saw a commercial this weekend from the Democratic National Caucus saying I should talk to my congressmen about passing the "American Jobs Act." Is that the one the President was telling us to pass, or the one that the (R) congressman co-opted for his own under the same title?
I don't know about that. Either he's changed his speaking style, or he was catering his message to the audience he was rather aggressively addressing and mentioning by name. I did not know that. You'd think that somebody on the Blazer board would have said something about that at some point!
i wonder where my slippers are...i think i have two pair floating around, maybe they are under the couch
both parties are jokes, im throwing my vote away on a third party, i encourage all of you to do the same
Assuming a child has one Black parent and one White parent, I wonder if it's fair to assume that, generally speaking, the child identifies with the Father - irrespective of color?
You would have to do a case study. Some interracial children identify as both, some as just one. Be it Asian, Black, Latino, White, etc - President Obama has stated before he identifies as a Black man, so it is somewhat insulting for our resident split identity to suggest he would 'feel out of place' in a group of Black people.
kind of lame to latch onto the slippers comment, when I've heard many people say something similar about work ethic and doing things for yourself. You know, pull yourself up by your boot straps. It's called a saying. Much like the saying "Hi, I'm a dumbass."
