Katie Kenseth was practicing for the Oct. 15 "Better Half Dash" when she crashed her "Bandolero" car. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where she was treated and released. Kenseth, NASCAR's 2003 champion, posted on Twitter late Monday night that his wife suffered "a broken scapula and some bumps and bruises." "That didn't turn out so well," he posted.
