Does anybody know any sites that have the rules of baseball, I really want to learn the rules so I can watch it and know what their doing.
http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/official...es/foreword.jspon the left column, there are 7 choices(above it, says Forward), click on each one; and it'll give you a description. If you have ANY questions I can answer them.
If you just watch a game on TV after knowing the basics you'll usually pick up most of the nuances, although even people that have been watching the sport for years don't know all of them. (For some reason I didn't know that you could steal on a caught foul tip, although it seems to make sense now that I think about the foul tip-strikeout rule.)

So he can steal. If its fouled tipped and the catcher drops it, play is stopped and no runners can advance
I think the best rule is if you get hit by a pitch and swing, it's still a strike. (especially awesome in video games because you can piss off your friend big time)
