I just saw a news article where Ron Paul said he'd consider Dennis Kucinich as Secretary of Defense. This raises an interesting question of whether a coalition extremist party could succeed. Take the far right and the far left and join them together. What do you have? The political spectrum is in some ways a circle rather than a straight line (or a sphere rather than a diamond-shaped diagram). Kucinich and Paul do have some things in common. No, I don't think it would work either. But it would be fun. barfo
Yes, that's exactly how I had it pictured, too. 3 bases and a home plate. The Pentagon might deserve its own corner, though. If you labeled all 4 axes, not just the 2 you did, it would become a 4-dimensional graph. Add colors and it would sparkle like a girl's best friend.
I'm still holding out hope for the Bachmann - Palin ticket. I mean if you're going to go for "crazy," go all out I say.
It worked for Lincoln. I like the idea of having people within the cabinet who have differing ideas and political philosophies.
With a Presidency that presided over the largest slaughter of Americans in history, ironically BY Americans, and ended with his assassination by an American, I don't think ANYTHING worked for Lincoln.
