<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Seattle Times - The Seattle SuperSonics and Chris Wilcox are now exploring sign and trade possibilities since the two sides are split on new contract negotiations, the Seattle Times is reporting."The longer it drags on, we will come to the point of no return where Chris will not look back and will no longer want to be in Seattle," said Jeff Fried, the Washington, D.C.-based agent for Wilcox. "Since it appears that the Sonics are unwilling to give Chris his fair-market value, we're looking at other options."According to one NBA source, as many as nine teams have contacted the Sonics about Wilcox, but general manager Rick Sund has declined to seriously entertain each offer.Golden State is believed to be the latest team to inquire about Wilcox, but discussions with Seattle ended quickly because the Sonics are hoping to land an All-Star forward in return. Many believed the Sonics would offer Wilcox the six-year, $42 million deal they extended Vladimir Radmanovic last year, but Seattle's offer was slightly lower because only a few teams have the salary-cap flexibility to aggressively pursue the 6-foot-10 power forward.</div>Wilcox would have been a good addition to the Warriors but the Sonics were asking for just too much in exchange for him. :no1:LINK

There's actually a good chance he'll come to DC. He went to college in Maryland, and he's from this area. Maybe he'd want to return home. But of course, money comes first...

I would actually really like him to come to Boston. I mean, yeah i know he won't perform the same way he did in the last month or two of the season, but he would be a great pick-up for us.

Fair market value my ass. The guy wants 9 million for having a couple good months at the end of a contract year. He's basically a garbage man or poor mans ben wallace. Rugged and fights for rebounds get alot of put backs and dunks.I think he'd be a good fit with Iverson and the Sixers but no way in hell I give him 9 mil. MLE is even kind of a push.

Wow....This guy is a stud, when you play behind Elton Brand it's hard to show yourself, what he did with the Sonics was no fluke he just never got good minutes. He's definatly worth more than the MLE.

I heard he could go to the Bulls. That would just be to much on their roster.

Besides, Jamison wouldnt fit in Seattle, anyways. They already have Rashard Lewis who plays exactly like Jamison. Good shooter, doesnt have an inside game, etc. If he wants 9 mill, then forget it. I'm only paying 5 mill tops for him.

I am not saying the best of course, but very good. Pierce, AI, and Wilcox sounds pretty damn good to me. :dunno:<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheAnalyst @ Jul 7 2006, 11:16 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I heard he could go to the Bulls. We are not ready to lose Rasheed or Tayshaun. I doubt McDyess would go. All I can think of getting would be getting him via free agency. Losing Ben gives us cap space, but Nazr took up most of that cap space. MLE isn't 9 million either. Joe Dumars has something up his sleeves.Just a question, but wasn't Denver trying to unload KMart? :dunno:

Still might be trying to unload him, but they said they will try to work things out with what happened. So maybe Karl, and K-Mart will talk then they won't trade him, but I would be shocked if he was not traded with how he was asked to leave.

What about this- Kmart for Wilcox as the base, with fillers for cap and talent reasons?
