And UCLA's ability to run up the middle? UCLA had only 99 total yards less than the might, 6th ranked trees. UCLA has some big plays up the middle and Brehaut nearly matched Luck in yards. Franklin avg 8 yards per carry. If not for 2 UCLA TO's, this is a different game. Stanford had 80 penalty yards..... This is how #6 dominates at home?? I can't wait to play them!
Not wishing for anything but good football and a matchup between the two (current) top ranked conference teams. I like the way we are matching up so far. Stanford appears very much beatable. But, thamks for the wise words of caution! *Stanford dropped one position in the AP poll*
Both UO & Stanford have some concerns on defense. Stanford has a more balanced offense and can go with what works better than we can. Obviously, I think it'll be a close game. But for now we have to get by Cal and their "Coverage 0" schemes.
Stanford is avg 471 yards w/ 274 pass and 197 rush. 23 TDs Oregon is avg 534 w/ 235 pass and 300 rush. 27 TDs I'd argue Oregon is more balanced. Furd yet to play a ranked opponent and OOC play was Duke and SJS.
