Yeah that's how I understood it. I'm digging their message. Honestly I hope they get some more organization otherwise they'll end up like the tea party. No organization so the crazies come in and ruin the message.
no they're not. they're complaining for the sake of complaining. they are attention whore losers. they'll still vote for Obama even if he continues to suck wall street's cock. if they block a street I hope they get run the fuck over.
Anyone who claims to disagree with me has GOT to be kidding. It's impossible to be anything except me. I am a solipsist and none of you really exist.
these protests never do anything at all. they want to do something, they want real change, they have to start violent revolution. burn shit down. attack people. whatever it takes.
I wish them luck. I can't understand how any American who isn't making more thank $300k doesn't. They're just like the tea party, but not co-opted by the Koches or the Fox news network. Enraged at how we can spend so much money on bailouts for bankers, without any regard for the average joe. It's unfocused rage, yes. But I hope it won't always be. The alternative is much more bleak.
Hey man, I can score some heat-seeking missiles and my friend can get you some ignition cables. Are you up to set them off downtown? You'll learn what to do at the training in the Middle East my organization will pay for. I'll drive you around and keep talking you into it when you try to squirm out of it. 5 minutes before you set them off, can you meet me in front of the FBI building downtown? It'll save me time.
I'm just saying what needs to be effective to enact change. These protests will not do a damned thing. I've stated that the system needed to fail, or else we will continue the bad practices that took us there in the first place. This protest will just be lip service, nothing more. In a few months they'll move on to something new. or you know, find work. but probably not.
You're right. For example, polls say over 50% of Americans have always opposed the 2 wars. If our government refuses to represent the majority, why do we fight wars against non-democracies? Because there are ulterior motives, like, Saddam must have insulted the Bush family in the 80s. A new non-democracy is installed to replace the old one.

I made $28,000 driving a forklift for a unionized manufacturer in the early 70's. To keep up with inflation that same job should pay $142,500 today. In reality, it now pays about $28,000 with far less bennies. You youngsters don't know how bad you're getting screwed, and you don't know who it is that's screwing you. When in doubt, follow the money.
I wonder if these people know that most of the larger banks have moved off of Wall Street? In my time there I worked at 85 Broad St. and 11 Madison Ave. For their next trick, maybe they should go protest the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of Key Arena.
It's symbolic. It's like protesting in front of the White House, even if the President is actually off at Camp David.
