Re: Wondering about Aldridge's work ethic http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=1395I just read a recap on a Summer League game between Houston and Portland and I must say after reading about Aldridge's performance it really made me question his work ethic. From what they said he didn't seem to be trying at all. I'm now really gonna start following Portlands Summer League games and see if he continues to play like this. You'll have to scroll down the recap for a bit to you get to the recap on his performance. It sounds liek Steve Novak and John Lucas did a great job though. Webster did as well. They said Brandon Roy came out doing very well in th first half but seemed to struggle a bit in the second.
Re: Wondering about Aldridge's work ethic It is summer league but nobody has listened to me when I have called Aldridge soft...etc...It's not only the fact that he's soft and he avoides contact...being 235 pounds inside doesn't help either.

It just seems like he doesn't care at all. Who knows though if he keeps playing like that even if it is Summer League I'll definetly agree with you.
Re: Wondering about Aldridge's work ethic People said Chris Bosh was soft when he came out of the draft. I think he has turned out just fine. What I didn't understand is why the Blazers traded up to #2 to get Aldridge. The Bulls wanted Thomas and would've likely took him at #2, and the Bobcats still would have took Morrison at #3. It's too early to tell if he is too soft though. If he looks like he just doesn't care during the regular season, then there will be a proble,
Re: Wondering about Aldridge's work ethic Maybe he is a lazy player that gives 50% in practice but when its game time he is a whol nother person.
