He's having some problems negotiating his contract with Seattle. They are talking about a S & T. I think we should snag him. He'll probably want around 6 or 7 mill, which is a bit of a stretch, but he'd be very solid for us, it's a great fit. We need an athletic big man that can play with some power, and we know he can rebound. So what do you think?

I would LOVE Wilcox on our team. But where would he fit? I mean we already have Gomes, Big Al, Perk, and Ratliff - they all deserve minutes. Unless we trade one of them in return, I don't see him fitting. But if we could unload one of these guys and get a fair deal in return, I say why not?

we can't depend on Ratliff playing any more than 50 games AT MOST this season. We're not strong enough at Center. Wilcox can play Center. I think he'd be an excellent fit.

That's great, but what about those 50 games when Ratliff is healthy? How in the world could Doc possible separate the minutes between Gomes, Al, Perk, Wilcox, and Ratliff? I think Doc has taken too much heat from our fans. All he needs is a set team and a set rotation.

If we could get the Sonics to sign-and-trade him for Wally, like a 3 year deal or something, sure get him. Would be hard to fit him in the rotation though.

I can't think of anyone that needs a 4/5 that bad! He could be a nice pairing with Duncan in SA. Perhaps he would take less money to have a chance to win a ring?

Chris Wilcox? The guy had like 30 good games for Seattle, he's still unproven. He wants 9 MIL? Mark him as the next way overpaid big man in the NBA if he gets that much.

After thinking about it more I wouldn't want him in Boston at all. He would be looking to get big minutes and with Gomes and Jefferson there is no room! And I don't think he would do so great as a full time 5, and I really like Perkins and if Ratlif can stay healthy they would be set anyways.
