Jay Allen reporting that LMJ's exam and MRI showed no ligament damage at all and LMJ is receiving treatment for the dislocation.

James is reportedly sore but swelling is minimal and prognosis is BEYOND POSITIVE.

This is JUST speculation, but some are speculating he's back in two to three weeks. :ghoti:

Oh, man. So happy for LMJ...and ok..for selfish reasons too. Hope his rehab is smooth and he's back soon. Actually, glad for this time of reflection of what is truly important in this crazy sport we call Oregon Football!

That's my guess. Board chatter is keeping DAT at WR and run more Huff at the Tazer (sp) position. It's really not a bad position to be in...all around skills of Barner, speed of DAT and power of Tra. We'll get through the next few weeks and hopefully all have a whole new appreciation for what a special and gifted athlete LMJ is. I'm not trying to boast here, guys, but I've seen a lot of talent come and go through Oregon - and I haven't always appreciated just being a fan in the moment and enjoying the talent on the field...but, if I can offer any advice...take in and enjoy this time with LMJ. He's as special as they come! :)

I'm fairly certain that LMJ would have broken the all-time PAC12 yards record if he had been healthy all season and if he stayed for his senior season.

Yeah Tony Cherry was a character on Jackie Brown and Kevin McCall was the governor of Oregon, right? :devilwink:

Why are you talking in past tense? Nobody really knows if he's going to come back for his senior year. He could have declared for the draft last year and didn't, so who's to say he wont be back next year?

Fuck the Pac-12 record, he's only 2200 yards away from the NCAA record! Let's say he comes back this season and finishes with 1600 yards for the year. He would then only need 1400 yards to break it in his senior year. I wouldn't want to jinx him but with the line continuing to get better, I see no reason why he couldn't shatter the record.

I guess because I figured it was already a forgone conclusion that he will go pro after this season.
