It's too bad it wont be aired live on TV until later. I hope Bargnani and Tucker are able to showcase their talents.

There isn't any non-Raptors players on this summer league team that would make the team. Justin Gray is the more well-known player, but even he's a long shot. Jermaine Anderson may get a shot since he's Canadian, but it seems he can't even beat Andre Barrett for our 3rd string PG spot.

Well Bargnani scored 20 in the 1st SL game, and also went 2-5 from deep.

Wow I wasnt expecting for Bargnani to do that well in his first summer league game - he shot a great percentage from the field, 3 and Ft, besides his 20 points he recorded 2 blocks which gets a thumbs up in my books. Anyways, I was kindof hoping Tucker would do alot better then he did as I hear that he has the talent to move past Graham in the depth chart. Graham for one also had an excellent game with a team high 22 points. Another noteable player was kris humphris with 12 pts. Cant wait to see how the raptors will fair in their next game. Also can anyone please tell me why theyre letting amare stoudamire play in the summer league????

Nice find on AB LAS VEGAS -- Andrea Bargnani could not claim to be No. 1, performance-wise, on opening day in the Vegas Summer League. The best player in the gym was Portland's Martell Webster.Bargnani probably wasn't even the best rookie in the gym. Four games into the schedule on the UNLV campus, that status belongs to Houston Rockets rookie Steve Novak. That said ...Bargnani was pretty impressive Thursday night. The top pick in last week's NBA draft was confident, aggressive and ready to hoist from the minute he lined up for his first Canadian national anthem. The first time he touched the ball for the Toronto Raptors, set up by a high pick-and-roll, Bargnani put the ball on the deck and went right to the rim, earning a quick trip to the foul line.He also drained his first triple from NBA distance soon after and wound up totaling a solid 20 points for the Raptors, helping to secure a 93-85 victory over the Washington Wizards and looking quite loose."He's not shy," Raptors president Bryan Colangelo said proudly, clearly pleased that the 20-year-old was so attack-minded, good for 16 points by halftime alone. It's obviously silly to get too excited or discouraged by anything that happens in the modern summer-league environment, with so much inexperience coming out of the draft. The patient approach is especially true on Day 1...full storyhttp://sports.espn.go.com/nba/colum...marc&id=2511802

Wow that's great news to hear. Graham mentioned in an article that this season, he'll be a lot better. Well.. i guess he'll have to be when Tucker is on our roster.

He is not coming off of injury and his conditioning is fine. I really hope Amare comes back strong!

Where are you watching the games? Raptors TV? Anyways Amare and Ron Artest made thier debuts in the 06' summer league and Amare judging by his stats had a good game almost completing a double double, while artest on the other hand i believe had something like 12 pts. Anyways cant wait to see how Bargnani finishes off the summer league along with Graham, Humphries and Tucker....it would be nice to see Roko Ukric play in the summer league, oh well.
