No comma messed me up. No worries. I never care about personal attacks for real anyway. Still mad Mixum got banned though
No, I wasn't being petty. Sorry that you feel that way. It was a personal attack and it needed to go.
I don't think the real story ever came out? I think he said something that was in poor taste, but I'm not sure that's any worse than some of the other people in here. Like a lay off I guess? You choose that time to get rid of people you may not like?
I see what your point is and all, but it's really just a vastly different skill set. Again, I think Lebron would be a very good TE given some time.
Nope. It's a long and tawdry tale. I encourage you to search for old threads where it was discussed ad nauseum Ed O.
I honestly try to. The way I moderate has come up before and I tried to explain things in this thread. http://sportstwo.com/threads/176281-Warrior-Dash/page2 I'm not sure what you mean by softer. I edited one personal insult in one thread by you and defended a post you made that someone thought was a personal insult in this thread and now you're trying to make this into some pissing match between us?!? I have no problems with you dude. Don't try and create conflict where there isn't any.
If it's just a question of potential and Lebron "potentially" being able to play QB based on his physical profile, then sure. My comments about him playing tight-end and not QB are based strictly on what would happen if Lebron actually tried to play in the NFL this year while the NBA is shut down. Playing QB takes years of repetition to learn to read coverages, how to spin the ball into tight windows, how to make progressions, how to look corners off, establishing timing with receivers, knowing how to calll out protection, etc. etc. The mental part of football would be the biggest thing for Lebron to overcome, not the physical.
Right, to suggest an immediate transition to the NFL would be ridiculous. What I am trying to say is that imo, people as talented as Newton normally play basketball. At that height, speed, and strength I think people are more encouraged to pursue basketball. A professional basketball career pays more and is less strenuous.
after umpteen examples to the contrary, you still really think everyone is as petty and small minded as you? If any NBA player chooses to do something else, I wish them the best as I would anyone else who changed their career. STOMP
The NFL does not need any more idiots in the league. Stay in the NBA, where I can continue not giving a shit about you.
