    EUGENE -- There were times in fall camp 2010 when Bryan Bennett looked like the best quarterback on the field.

    I remember scratching my head and talking with other onlookers about the poise and playmaking ability of the skinny true freshman from Encino, Calif.

    ...there was no denying Bennett's speed, arm strength and jaw-dropping athleticism. Bennett carried five times for 65 yards, certainly surprising Arizona State defenders who didn't understand at first just how fast he can move. And, while he completed just 2 for 5 passes for 22 yards, the Ducks didn't really need Bennett to go to the air.

    Trust me, the kid has a gun.
