Looks like LA is at #23 http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7091490/nba-player-rankings-21-25 G.Wallace at #48? Seriously? Roy at #59? Wow, lots of respect lost perhaps?
Perhaps, but overall, did you see how many Blazers were in the top 100? LA, Wallace, Roy, Felton, Matthews, Batum, & Camby--how many other teams have 7 of the top 100 players in the league?
AGREE! I'm confident that most GM's would take LMA over both of them. LMA is a more complete, well rounded player.
I don't think any GM's would take LA over Blake Griffin. I also think most GM's view Love and LA as equal, which in my eyes they aren't
blake griffin doesnt scare me and kevin love gets boards and shots decent for a big, thats all he does. LA and zach randolph should be higher than those two.
The problem is, LMA's been in the league longer than Griffin and Love and his offense (and rebounding) still isn't as good as Z-Bo ... point being there's not much to distinguish him from these guys, and Griffin and Love at least still have upside based on their age, which means GMs probably would take them over Aldridge. LMA is a fine player and I'm glad we have him, but let's keep things in perspective.
If I were a GM, all other things being equal, I would want them in the following order Griffin (Huge Upside and a blast for fans) Aldridge (Solid all around and a good team guy) Love (Good O and great rebounder) Randolph (he would be higher but his shady past would make me hesitant)
I agree with this however i wouldn't rank griffin as a top 10 player just yet. Him and Chris Paul were the biggest screw ups on the list for me.
