<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Press Release - The Chicago Bulls announced today the team has waived Othella Harrington. The 6-9, 235-pound forward spent the last two seasons with the Bulls after joining Chicago via trade with the New York Knicks on August 5, 2004.Harrington has appeared in 142 games, including 51 starts, with the Bulls during his two-year stint in the Windy City and averaged 6.4 ppg and 3.1 rpg in 14.8 mpg and shot .505 from the floor and .680 from the free throw line.</div>Unless this is a sign that the Bulls are going to get Chris Wilcox, Then this makes no sense to me. Harrington played very well with Chicago. He is a good strong player that will get you rebounds.
I love it, Harrington was useless last season. Two years ago he did pretty well but as of now hes just a waste of a roster spot.we have enough players who can play PfTyrus ThomasMalik AllenMike SweetneyPJ Brown
True Othella was good in the past but now with the addition of all these PF...We have no need for him. We didnt use him last playoffs against Shaq so why do we need him now.
I liked Othella, he could be had for peanuts. I'd rather have him than Calvin f*cking Booth. But yeah Chicago is really looking to stack the frontcourt positions, so this move was pretty much expected.
