The long-term vision for this district has a Vancouver-esqe theme to it. A cluster of glass towers. I actually like it. No other part of the city will look like South Waterfront/Schnitzer campus.
I always wondered how long the South Waterfront property would sit unused. That much waterfront property can only go unused for so long. I'm glad that they're doing something with it, and it looks beautiful.

This is a solid addition to the all things portland thread. This band, Hot Boy, was a butt rock band from Portland in the late 80's. My sister was dating the drummer during this era. In fact she's in this video, but I will not tell you which one she is! The whole vid was shot in Portland circa 88 or 89? Something like that. I actually like this song quite a bit, but it might be because it's nostalgic for me. I used to listen to their one and only album all the time when I was a kid. I thought it was so bad ass that my sister was dating the drummer and I was raised on butt rock anyway. Good stuff!
