    Can someone explain to me why a running back can't be pushed backwards for for an extra 4 or 5 yard loss, but he can be pushed forward for an extra 4 or 5 yard gain?

    I think there is a rule that a RB must be under his own power and can't actually be pushed forward. Once in a while you get a good srum/scrub but the RB is supposed to be moving forward by his own power. For being pushed back, it prevents players from picking each other up and running with them!

    Harris really hasn't had much impact this season... not even close to the impact he had last season. I wonder how much of that has to do with being out of rhythm, or is it attitude?

    That was the boringest Oregon game in a long time. The first quarter was cool, but the rest of the game was a real snore. We put in our 3rd stringers and just toyed around the rest of the game.

    But I think Bennett is a better QB than Thomas. He's got a great future!
