Work closely with a co-worker who smokes. He's pretty good about the mints post cancer stick. It's much appreciated.
My point is you're confused about your own political view. You should love and support Obama/Pelosi/Reid and company.
Partly, but a more compelling arguement could be made against fast food eaters, alcoholics, and people in dangerous or stressful occupations such as fire/police/military/logging/mining/construction and people who ride motorcycles or drive hybrids.
Seems to me fat people take longer lunches and more snack breaks. Do they think they are entitled to take more time to eat? Seems to me lazy people work slower than other workers. Do they think they are entitled to work less because they are lazy? Seems to me nerds spend more time on the computer surfing and posting than working. Do they think they entitled to surf more than other workers? Seems to me that woman . . . I better stop before I piss off the whole board.
My guess is, diseases/claims related to smoking, cost the health insurance companies more dollars, overall.
As for smelly co-workers I worked in a factory when I was young and a guy there always carried a paper bag of garlic to munch on all day and microwaved pig's brains in the lunchroom. He didn't smoke, btw.
