Other than that, you have a Democratic president trying to broker peace with a terrorist in 1995, a Democratic President trying to broker peace with a terrorist in 2009, and two instances where we chose to support the lesser of two evils in their fights against our enemies (Iran and the Soviet Union) but who later on betrayed us.
