A decision was made to bring Jim Ross back to RAW the week after being "fired" after minute-by-minute television ratings showed a huge drop in viewers when Ross was "fired". WWE also received a ton of negative feedback via their social networking outlets and took notice. No word on what the television future of Jim Ross is as of this writing. I know he's loyal to WWE, but they are constantly shitting on him, in public. How many times has he been "fired" (real or not) when in his home state?
It is hard to tell what is kayfabe sometimes (especially for me since I don't watch or keep up with the news). Who knows how much of this is put-on.
well, it's a put on, but at the same time it's still basically burying him in his home state. The guy is the best announcer in the business, and he's barely treated as such.
