In talks with sources,There is a bit of optimism about talks. Nothing definitive but hope is in the air

I want it to end yesterday but the small market-farm-club system for big markets has to end!

As much as I'd love for HCP to get back to work so I can use the new sex swing I got for Mrs HCP, I too do not want the owners to give in to the competitive ballance to please the greedy players who would be tall hobos if there were no league

No predictions, but guarded optimism from various sources today. Reason? "Reality is setting in," says source inv in talks from beginning.

I understand and respect all of your opinions on this. I just have a little different view of it. It would be interesting for all of you to NOT to receive a paycheck 'til a deal is hammered out.

Mike Monroe: Per @Julian Mozo of Clarin, @Manu Ginobili to return to San Antonio 11-10 to begin workouts with Duncan, Splitter, others. Interesting timing.

In talking with agents and players, I don't sense a connection between world tour dropouts and a belief that labor deal is imminent.

Marc Stein: Source close to @Chris Paul says Paul passed on world tour to instead focus on "getting ready for the season and to spend time with family"

Interesting when you consider CP3 was front and center when the talks broke down last Thursday

Maybe the "world tour" star players realize how they're hurting their own case and fracturing their own union?

I was wondering if other players went to those guys and basically said "Hey, what the fuck?"

Marc Berman: According to league source, "progress" beimg made today is only on system issues. Not BRI. It's a start

Sounds like they're at where they were at last week before the "Grim Reaper" shut it down.

    Not holding my breath

A league source wired into bargaining session tells Y!: "There's a deal to be had if everyone shows a little flexibility."

A source in the room tells me he "wouldn't presume anything" regarding reports of progress in today's labor meeting in NYC.

According to my source, midgets are shorter than most NBA power forwards. I can vouch for this shit, I have known and trusted my source since college.
