Does Anyone know anything about Iversons Current status? im just wondering cuz i havnt heard anything.
The rumors have cooled down a bit, but King is still listening to offers around the league. Atleast that's what i've heard. I'd say there's a pretty good chance he's traded by the end of the summer.
Yeah there hasn't been many rumors going on lately but King is still really considering trading him. The trade talks have just gone down a lot since there's been so many FA signings and trades going down lately. We should hear some more rumors soon.
Don't worry about it. Billy King rarely ever discloses anything concerning possible trades and whatever else he is going to do.Thankfully the Boston trade rumors have cooled down a bit, and I'm sure there will be rumors all summer regarding where Iverson will be next season (whether it be Philadelphia or somewhere else).I hope he isn't traded, but realistically speaking if he isn't traded by the beginning of the season, I'm almost positive he'll be traded before the trade deadline this season, unless of course the Sixers are somehow among the elite teams in the league.
The trade rumors with Boston have cooled down a bit, but that's only because it was revealed that A.I. trade would not be involved in the draft. I still think the Boston/Philly A.I. trade is still in a lot of discussion, if you look at the Celtics roster right now we have a shitload of guards for some really odd reason. I think Danny is trying to package a few of our guards for the A.I. trade. I think Billy King has pretty much made up his mind that he wants to sink the A.I. reign in Philly. He is hearing offers around the league but the one with Boston just got really publicized for some reason.
Yeah I'm hearing Billy King is hell bent on moving Iverson, and that he's just fielding offers from other teams right now. If he can't find anything better, he'll pull the trigger on the Boston deal.
I don't know the official deal, but the general concensus is that it will involve Gerald Green, Al Jefferson and possibly Sebastian Telfair (if not Bassy then most likely Delonte West). Pretty much anybody other than Paul Pierce.

(Even though I dont want them to)I there gonna trade him then trade him. If not then shut up with the rumors. I tired of all the suspense.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (dirk4prez32 @ Jul 9 2006, 11:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I'm hearing A.I. to Celtics for Camby and Miller</div>AI to Boston yet Miller, and Camby are in Denver. But anyway it looks more, and more that AI will be staying until the trading deadline. Then they can get more for AI maybe from a team that is not far from being a contender. But it be bad if AI is kept then traded at the trade deadline. Because since AI will be with us we will get wins, then when he is traded we will start loosing, and end up out of the playoffs. But not as one of the worst teams to get one of the top picks in the draft. So we need to either trade him before the season starts so we can just suck period to get a chance at Oden, or any other good guys that might come out. (I don't want that. I would rather AI stay of course) Even though I understand why we would trade him not that he is not good just that we got no cap room to build around AI now.) Or just keep AI, and not trade him even at the trade deadline to have a shot at the playoffs first round lost. LOL
David Aldridge's article in the Philadelphia Inquirer was exactly right. We shouldn't trade Iverson right now with all the offers we are getting. We shouldn't trade him for 50 cents on the dollar. Keep him next year, and keep Webber. Let's see what happens, although it is clear that King is not going to make any of the "major changes" that he promised at the end of last season. What happens if we completely turn around and somehow miraculously become legitimate contenders for the Eastern crown? I mean, last time AI was this close to being shipped out of town, we went to the Finals. It's a long shot, but it's a possibility...Another longshot is us just being so horrible that we are truly one of the worst teams in the league, and then the decision to trade AI is obvious. But again, that isn't really likely either...The reality is that we will be mediocre again next year, and that will lead us into another trade deadline and offseason of rumors regarding Iverson's situation.

I will now be surprised if AI is traded now. I don't think AI will be here next of season with that said.
