And potentially negotiating with 450 players more or less simultaneously. Not a good time to be GM-free.

Makes sense. Whichever course of events happens, Portland will land on its feet because we have the Allen advantage. We will spend like a big market and beat out the lower half of the teams in the competition to sign players.

Certain superstars like Lebron, kobe, durant would be winners if the decertification occurred, but there would also be many players who would instantly have their bad contracts cancelled and would be screwed. Roy would certainly never again get more then a few mil a year, and his big contract that he signed would vanish. Other players like Outlaw, Childeress, Lee, Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh, Boozer, hedo, okafor and of course arenas would all be losing millions of dollars if this happened. I just can't see the few superstars really convincing enough of the league players to decertify.

I said this earlier, I really think that all this decertification talk is just a tactic to try and drive a wedge between the owners and get them to budge off the 50% BRI stance. It's all just silly talk.
