Looked like a full house. Kudos to PDX fans for showing up for this scrimmage, and kudos for LMA for putting it on for the fans! I was wrong. I thought it wouldn't even happen, yet the top row of the Chiles Center was full, small as it is.

    I don't know but I think I love you.

LMA is exactly everything that Sheed could never be. The evolution of the position. I look forward to LMA putting together a run of his own.

That was a pretty entertaining "game." -- felt a lot like an all-star game, minus a lot of all-stars. Matthews looks a lot more comfortable handling the rock and it was kind of funny watching him play tonight; he was literally the only guy who actually played any defense at all for more than just the last five minutes in the fourth quarter, when everyone suddenly started trying to play to win. Plus Felton looks like he's been laying off the McRibs too, so that's encouraging.

Seriously? They wanted to block a charity event where LA dropped 100k during the night from happening?

Not a good look for the Blazers.

You and I (and others) can keep saying it, but most people either don't care, don't believe it or will put it back on us saying we're "just being trolls"

Now did I expect the Blazers to fully endorse this? Hell no, but to try and actively squash it is so fucking bush league I don't have words to adequately express my disgust.

Way to go Paul, you clueless tonedeaf fuckwit :twothumbs:

I heard that Larry Miller put a dead puppy on the windshield of the car of any season ticket holder who went to the game.

With the lockout going on, and me souring on this whole fucking mess, I was down on basketball. But just reading all the tweets about an actual basketball game got me missing the game. I really hope this lockout ends soon.

It's an NBA rule to actively try and place obstacles in front of a charity event? I know that NBA employees are under a gag order, but it seems douchey to meddle in an event that ended up raising $100k for charity. What events have the Blazers held during the lockout to help out the local communty.

I've been on the owners' side during this lockout, but bullshit backdealings by organizations like Portland do them no favors at all.

Of course, Canzano could simply be making it up, too. I wouldn't put it past him.

It's worth considering, but he made it pretty clear that it was something conveyed to him by UP officials ... and let's face it, it's completely inline with the sort of thing we'd expect from PA or the Vulcans.
