<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>CLEVELAND -- LeBron James won't be leaving home anytime soon.Cleveland's All-Star forward accepted a five-year contract extension worth about $80 million from the Cavaliers on Saturday, a huge relief for the rising team and its fretting fans who worried he might be planning an escape.James, who in three seasons as a pro has turned the Cavaliers from doormats into NBA title contenders, will sign the deal once the league's moratorium ends Wednesday, said his agent Leon Rose."I am very excited and happy to be re-signing with the Cavaliers. Staying in Cleveland ... provides me with the unique opportunity to continue to play in front of my family, friends and fans," James said in a statement released by his publicist. "I look forward to working toward bringing a championship to our great fans and the city of Cleveland."AP NEWS</div>This is good, I'm happy he's staying. If he left for somewhere else like California or New York I'd lose all my respect for him. It does end in 6 years though so if Cleveland can't build a good team around him he can go somewhere else when he's 27.
I'm glad he's staying in Cleveland. I was gonna be mad if he would've left because it was looking like Cleveland would finally have some success and to see it all end because of him leaving. He made a good choice to stay loyal to Cleveland.

Like take AI for example.........He stayed in Philly gave it everything, yet the gm failed to put the right guys around him. And now AI was still saying he wants to stay a Sixer yet he will be traded. I know Billy King screwed it all up so bad that we really got no choice then to rebuild, because we got no cap space. I am just saying sometimes when your loyal to your team they take advantage of you like in AI's, and KG's situation. AI, and KG both never bashed there teammates when they could have many times yet they get no respect back from there gm's. But the Cavs gm is smarter then Billy King, and the T-Wolfs gm I am sure so hopefully the same thing won't happen to Lebron.
