BESIDES Artest and Stoudemire. Who's playing the best? Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes are playing great. Same with John Lucas.
lol, I was going to say Stoudemire but I think it's Randy Foye. I've been checking out all the stats to post them on FPM and he always stands out. He's doing a good job.
Randy Foye. He played well, hitting jumpers and driving to the rack, only three 3s attempted. The recap mentioned that he was taking it strong against Amare and suceeding. I wish I could watch the game today, Foye vs. Roy. That will be interesting.
^I just went to vegassummerleague.com and he is still only recorded for one game. Also, none of you are mentioning him, but Joey Graham is doing great so far. He's averaging 22 ppg so far.I just went to the schedules, and the game should end at 5:30 or so Eastern. Too bad its not on TV though...
I'm going with the Rocket John Lucas III. He's been tearing up the summer league and getting wins.Him, Foye, or Gomes obviously.
Hopefully Foye since I am a fan of his like him from Villanova. Even though I just started to watch a few college games last season before that I did not like college ball.
Foye is playing very well, and I also noticed Steve Novak from the Rockets playing well. If he has a few more big games, he would be the best player in the summer league. His jumpshot is falling like it was at Marquette.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Jul 9 2006, 05:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Gomes has only played one game too, and people are raving of him. So what?</div>it's bc he's actually proved himself at the nba level.Even tho you can now scratch Gomes' name off your lists. He had a poor showing, as did the rest of the Cs vs. the clips. :no3:
We're talking about the MVP of the Summer League here. It doesnt matter what they've done in the NBA. Just as long as they prove themselves down here, they'll win MVP.Holy sh*t guys. I just looked up Bargnani's stats for the game against the Kings. He had 10 PF's!!!Jesus, I hope he doesnt get into this sort of foul trouble in the NBA. Anyway yeah, no one really had a good game for the Raps against the Kings..Highest scorer on the team was Joey with 14 points..If you wanted me to pick a winner right now, I couldnt. It is a close race between Foye and John Lucas III. I'll go with Johnny Lucas because he has 6 assists; Foye only has .7. Wait a minute, isnt Foye supposed to be a pg? .7 apg???? Lucas is 1 ppg below Foye in ppg too, so he's my choice as of now.
That's not the point i was making. People were raving about him bc they knew it was legit. It wasn't just one break out game that they'd never see again.
