"Like I always tell him: 'On the field I'm not your friend. I don't know who you are on the field. I just see an opposite-colored jersey. I'm going to kill you on the field. You better hope I don't catch you.' "That's how it is — brotherhood off the field. On the field I'm about to rip him apart." That's not very nice, Sir. Not nice at all. Weather report The forecast for Eugene, Ore., on Saturday calls for possible rain or snow showers and temperatures that could dip into the 20s. That could be really cool. I've never, in over 30 years of going to games, watched a game played in snow at Autzen. http://www.latimes.com/sports/college/usc/la-sp-1115-usc-football-20111115,0,7822878.story
Sounds like a close friend of DAT's just talking some good-natured trash. Nothing I'd expect to see from an Oregon player, but Kiffen obviously runs a loose ship at USC. Not a big deal at all, IMO.
All I can say is USC has more to lose than just the game. When the Ducks smack the skirts of those Trojans, they'll lose recruits just like the Mamba to us again! Trust me USC is trying to talk themselves up for this one. They know what we did to Stanford on their home field. Autzen is good for 10 extra points a game, so this could get ugly in a hurry!! As for Kiffen, he deserves whatever he gets!
Agreed, not a threat of direct murder, or anything. But, it isn't just between friends - it's public in the media. I don't think it's a huge deal - just in poor taste. I wouldn't be supporting this kind of talk out of a Duck's mouth. Sometimes these kids are allowed to act like pro-athletes and don't completely follow NCAA and Pac12 code of conduct rules. NB, Misleading thread title or threat? LOL. Are we back to demanding a specific way of posting and trying to control each other? If so, please clean up your posts. They contain juvenile spelling and punctuation and it really bothers me. :wink Just kidding. In all seriousness, I'm not a fan of telling people how they should post and what words they should use to post with. Sometimes I'll play that role to make a point, but, really, that's not my game. Feel free to keep it up though. You do it well.
