I'm not so sure there is room for him at the moment. I think he may need to work on his game in the D-League. He can get some special coaching and work alot on his shot. After playing two years at Kentucky, he may need to adjust to the pace of the game as well, even tho this pace seems to fit him better.I'm almost positive Powe will be joining him if Rondo leaves for the D-League. There's obviously no room for Powe right now. I don't even really think we should've bothered to acquire him. Also there's allan ray.so our injured reserve could very well be all in the D-League: Rondo, Powe, and Ray. (NOTE: I'd probably rather have Rondo on the active roster than Scabs tho. But i know Doc feels differently).

I think all these guards stacking up means that a monster trade is in the works. I personally think there is a big possibility he might be in the NBADL for a while but he definately will get some minutes this season.

With his speed he could put up some big scoring numbers in the NBDL. I think Powe will be sent down and play very well!

actually, this could change. Tony Brown said the team would play alot more small ball this year with dual point guard backcourts. So more PT for Rondo and delonte and Telfair. yesssss

I agree, the kid has loads of talen, but after watching his style of play in some college games, he needs to be revamped. He shoots a bit too much and turns the ball over quite a bit, and he wouldnt get much time on the C's anyway behind Delonte and Seb Telfair. I think the NBDL would probably be a good choice.

He also protects the ball better than the majority of the NCAA PG's.Rondo will be a good player, but his shot needs some work. At the begining of last season he tried a new technique with his shooting stroke. So he's got tons of room for improvement on offense. Once he gets a shooting stroke, he'll be deadly

When I saw him, when he got a rebound, he went straight back to the 3 pt line and started jacking 3's. Also, he was careless with the ball when I saw him, and 2 TO's isnt very good either.

That would be just incredible..

2.3 TO's isnt especially good either. And I was just judging from my point of view, instead of just getting all of my knowledge from reading a scouting report. When I saw him, he shot too much. He made alot of the shots though, because he's up against bad defense. I see him shooting low 40's in the NBA though.

Rondo doesn't shoot too much. I've seen him play more than once. If you saw him get a rebound, go to the 3-pt. line and jack up a 3, it was either a last second desperation shot, or you're lying. He does have pretty good ball control, but it's not out of this world.

I'm not lying. The whole team, including him kept on jacking jumpers.

i can guarantee you were exaggerating, which is lying, if you said "he got a rebound, he went straight back to the 3 pt line and started jacking 3's".

He just kept on shooting for a stretch. I'm not kidding. He shot 8 times, and made only 2 of the shots. I was a littlke exagerating about the 3 pt shots. He only took 1. I meant jumpers. He made 2 of 8 shots and had 2 TO's and only 3 assists, and was reckless with the ball alot. The game was versus Kansas. The boxscore is here

oh my bad, i forgot players aren't allowed to have one or two bad games. And we all know he isn't a great shooter anyways. his role will be to play defense and push the ball basically. His first few years shouldn't have very much pressure on him.

That was just my point of view. I dont watch many NCAA games. You can judge a players skill set from any game too. Players are always doing the same thing; just more efficiently some times rather then others.

crap, i've been looking over his boxscores and they are impressive. He actually had 19 rebounds in a game! wow.He also had a game of 17 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 steals/13 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists, 0 turnovers.25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Jul 9 2006, 05:21 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>That was just my point of view. Uk was getting stomped that game, so each player was forcing up shots out of panick or desperation. Rondo is not one to force up shots regularly.

With his recent play, i'm not so sure he'll be sent down. He could end up doing decent for us. I don't know how Ainge finds these guys. It's amazing.

With the way Rajon is playing so far in the summer league, it will be tough for a guy like Doc to keep him out of the rotation. He and Danny LOVE Rondo. He is what we need at the PG spot as well, a good defender, big hands, extremely quick, a good pass-first playmaker. His offensive game will be a project, but he can still really help this team out.

He is the two-way player this team needs. I'm starting to love this guy.

He could be a deadly NBA player..
