Fans are getting disgruntled about millionaires and billionaires disagreeing over how to split amounts of money they could never dream of earning. What do you personally want?
I want a season. I enjoy watching the Blazers and fantasy basketball is fun. And I want HCP to be getting paid again. I can live without it, but I want it. Ed O.
The rainy NW sucks without basketball. I'm pretty disenchanted by the players rejection of the offer, as well as the owners inability to negotiate. If they can't produce a season this year I will be highly disappointed and will go out of my way to limit consumption of the NBA product in the future.
I want one on many levels. Born and raised a hoop junkie!!!! Can't remember a time I wasn't watching or playing the game. Then had the luck to be able to land a job working in the business. After yesterday my wife and I are planning on there NOT being a season. We are scrambling, but hope were wrong. I will say I have already watched more college hoop in the last 3 days then I did all last season.
I want players to appreciate just how much money they make to play the game of basketball . . . OK I'll just take shortened NBA season.
I voted yes because I believe if there is a season this year, it will mean the players won't be running the league
I love the Blazers, but I hate the player's association, if that makes sense. I wouldn't mind watching these jerks go without pay for a year, and then getting even less of a good deal next season. They need a serious grip on reality.
I'm willing to wait for a better league to replace the NBA. Stern has tamed the actual game to the point it's not nearly as entertaining for me to watch as it was before he came.
I want no season, HCP to become a bum, and Denny to go back to hawking stolen computer hardware. I want all those owners to lose all their money and join the real world. I want this board to be about jokers posting pictures of women. I want that cracker Canzano to be fed up.
I voted no, just so you all know how it will feel to not have a game to watch. Plus it will help the NHL.
Winning the lawsuit doesn't mean much in terms of saving the NBA, though. At least as how we know it. More than a few teams will fold, and I could see the league declaring bankruptcy on a massive financial settlement that calls for immediate payments, instead of lost wages over a 10-year CBA. Oh, and I voted 'no'. MacGrady's idiotic Tweet last month set me over the edge on caring about the NBA. I love the Blazers, still, but I guess I'm one of the affected fans that the owners and players seem to think don't matter.
Damn well too bad bruh. The NBA players aren't stupid enough to sacrifice a whole season. Basketball for life.
