Tim Tebow's America's son. Too bad he can't throw the ball for beans, he is fun to watch though. Not sure I've ever heard him speak in an interview without saying how blessed he is and how his teammates are the greatest.
Yes, he does seem to go a bit over-the-top with Christian zeal. But, at the same time, I think it's genuine. He's not a knucklehead. Sports has far too many of those. Anyway, he's won three straight as a starter. If the Broncs win tonight, they'll actually be in first place in their division. Amazing. Oh, and I hate the Jets!!
I can't say I think his success will last (unless he learns how to throw), but it is fun watching them play. Options, direct snaps to the RB and RB (or WR, I didn't quite see the play) options.
Boy, ain't that the truth! The thing I love about Tebow is, when everyone says he can't do something (i.e. college title, Heisman, NFL, etc.) he seems to go out and find a way to accomplish it. Hopefully, passing is next on his list.
For somebody like myself who doesn't watch the NFL anymore..... can you please explain the whole Tim Tebow thing that is going on? I don't know anything about him since he left Florida....... and all of a sudden all you here about is him. What happened?
I don't understand where all this "he can't" stuff is coming from. Here is his Scouts inc profile. 5 stars, 3rd QB in the country (#2 being Stafford) and and offer sheet of Florida, Alabama, LSU, Michigan and USC. I'm sure there were some people saying he couldn't play in the SEC, but it sure wasn't the coaches. http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=1735241
He's winning games and only throwing the ball like 10 times a game on average. He's rushing for over 100 yards a game. Unheard of to run an option in the NFL and win games. He's 3-1 as a starter after the media scrutinized him and said he'd never be able to win in the NFL. He has 2 double digit 4th quarter comebacks in just 5 starts, Elway had only 2 in all the years he was a QB there. Oh, and he loves Jesus.
Tebow'ing is becoming a phenomenon
3-3 @ the half. Pretty ugly game all the way around. Tebow: 5-7 for 50 yds. (1 sack) 11 yds. rushing 91.4 passing rating
Shhhhhhhh.... The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world Tim Tebow couldn't exist as a NFL quarterback.
