More DAT contribution - punt coverage

    Stole this from a scout thread. I didn't notice this but after reading the discussion, see how important this 'minor' contribution is.

    DAT is flat out crazy fast and what a compliment he is to Rice's amazing leg. There's no other Duck within 25 yards - but, there's DAT - forcing a fair catch. Also love he's got almost 10 yards on the defender by the time he reaches the return man, lol.

    Pretty amazing. I'd imagine he is a decent hitter, too, given his time on defense last year.

    I wonder how long the team will be able to afford to use him on special teams. If he keeps emerging as a great player it might be tough to use him on punt coverage...

    True, true. Kelly will have to balance that out because just on the one punt his contributions are worth about a -15 to -20 yard run/return.

    tough situation to find yourself in as a coach - exactly where to play such talent! :ghoti:
