I'm just pissed that we wasted such an incredible come back effort. If we had just kept on sucking and got our asses kicked, it would have been easier to swallow.
USC were stronger and deeply athletic. Just like Auburn and LSU. It's one thing to have speed and athleticism, but another to add strength.
Their WR are the true story here. Lee is a stud. Can you imagine if USC had actually gotten both Lee and DAT? I don't know if we were ever really in the running for Lee, but that kid is amazing. He destroyed us tonight.
Barkley is one of the few QB's in the nation who has the arm strength and accuracy to throw to WR's who are already in tight coverage. It's just a talented and fast squad. We had a tremendous win streak going and sometimes the saying, 'you can't win them all' holds true. I still feel strongly we'll be representing the Pac in Pasadena and we'll make everyone proud. It's great being a Duck!
