OK, well, I'm sure the obvious sites such as porn, etc., but what about others such as ESPN (or related sports sites), S2 (or such), wagering sites, YouTube, etc.? Does your place of employment ban those (or others), as well?

Furthermore, I've often wondered just how much "work time" is wasted by good folk surfing the net? Is it of relative epidemic proportions?

Banned sites? None at mine, either. At least none that I know of. :)

Time "wasted"? It's hard to say. I work with a lot of creatives that need to get inspiration and, I'd argue, random websites are a good way to pursue ideas. Facebook and other social media is part of what we do, so while some of the time that I spend on those sites isn't, strictly speaking, applicable to work I think that I can justify almost all of it at some level or another.

Where I work they encourage us to watch Looney Tunes all day.

Fortunately I have this board at night to ease the pressures of the day.

The usual sites with gambling or porn. Oddly, though, Facebook is blocked.

All the social network ones, espn, ebay. If I had a work reason to use them I could have the IT guy unblock it for me but I'd probably just waste more hours in the day there.

working in the media i have most sites open but they block random ones like file sharing that we need from time to time. had it happen to me friday night when i was trying to pull video of a hs football playoff game that another station had shot for me. very frustrating. but it is nice to have the excuse that i "need" facebook and espn for "work" reasons.
