So one day after meeting Lebron James, Wade, Bosh and other NBA stars the guy gets an attitude and quits.
When a Beaver player leaves, Targus posts that it must be because there are problems brewing with the coaching staff etc. etc. etc. When it happens at Oregon.... nothing.
Rumor going around that Brown's going to Kentucky. Calipari is slime ball central. He got Wiltjer from Jesuit without him even stepping foot on campus. Sanctions, sanctions, sanctions!
That's shady as hell. He just up and quits UO after sleepwalking through two games, and then is headed to KY? I think I saw the same rumors you did, and they seem legit. If Brown couldn't handle being beat out by Kingma, Loyd, and Sim at UO, I wonder how he's going to take being 10th man at Kentucky. Fuck it. The program is probably better off without this headcase. As I posted in the hoops thread, either he wasn't as advertised, or he wasn't trying at Oregon, because he sucked the first two games.
He's a picture perfect example of why AAU ball is ruining some kids. No defense, no structure. They think they can step on campus and be the man, when they're facing defense they've never faced before. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if Calipari was talking to Brown while he was at Oregon.
Pretty much. I don't like college hoops. I don't like how they play defense. I don't like how the offenses run. I like pro ball. I only enjoyed watching that Ducks team because of the style they played, but I've never really gotten into any of the teams since.
