In all honesty, like you and MARIS, I have complete access to all sites, as well. So, paint me hypocritical.
i know you're just messing around, i don't take anything all that seriously on here, especially coming from you. i am the m-f sports anchor for an nbc affliate in texas. i really like my work but not sure i love it enough to be so far from the nw. having said that i know i have a job that most people would do in a heartbeat, that's how they get away with paying us so little.
Nice! Being in front of it is harder then people think! Texas isn't that bad, but it's got nothing on my Pacific NW!
It really is an art to make it look and sound like it isn't difficult, if that makes sense. Texas isn't bad, SA is nice. I could live and be happy in Austin, it's like Portland but the weather is better. Sadly i'm on the border, so you'd fit in real well, i on the other hand stick out like a sore thumb. Been here two years and trying to get back to the nw, just not sure in what field.
no i didn't make it to our SA game last year, was hoping to go to this years to do a piece on Kaleb since he's from here but it's looking more and more like the season won't be happening.
Kaleb is great, a little shy with the media, but very cool! Crazy, but a guy came up to me in the Spurs media room during dinner and asked if I was HCP. Said he was from Portland and was down there for school and was on S2! Small world, didn't get his name though.
that is pretty crazy. i've talked to Kaleb a few times, i agree he seems to be pretty shy or maybe a better word is reserved but i know a bunch of his high school buddies so it has helped in him opening up some. i would love to replace quick or canzano or take over at the columbian for that matter, but doesn't sound like they are going anywhere for the time being. i (and probably 2 million others) am waiting to hear back about the new pac12 regional channels, really hoping something opens up but i also have other ideas about getting back into the metro area as well.
