694 total yards by Oregon on 10.1 ypp. It was the most points the Beavers had ever allowed -- until this Sat, that is!

Wow. I actually felt bad for the Beavers watching that. But it was spectacular.

I miss JJ, Blount and Masoli. Not that we don't have great kids now. Those dudes were just tough. Too bad a few of 'em lacked maturity.

I never liked Masoli. I like QBs that can throw.

Ouch because it isn't true. How quickly we forget and take for granted a QB that lead us to a Conf Champ and Rose Bowl for the first time in how many years? Don't let facts get in the way though.

"Had a 170.75 quarterback efficiency rating over the final four games of 2008, totaling 14 touchdowns (rushing and passing) against one INT."

Turned in one of best showings of his Oregon career, completing 84 percent of his passes for three touchdowns and no interceptions against California.

Was victimized by interceptions only six times in 305 attempts on the year, with his unblemished string extending to 138 attempts before suffering his first errant throw in Pac-10 play vs. Arizona State.

Completed 177 of 305 passes for 2,147 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2009, in addition to running for 13 scores … His 2,815 yards of total offense stands eighth on the school's single-season chart and contributed to his 5,277 career total offensive yards (9th on Oregon's all-time ledger) . . . Clocked as team's fastest quarterback during 2010 off-season workouts, completing electronic 40 yards in 4.81, as well as paced teammates at his position with a 455-lb. back squat.
