Am I the only one that's a little disappointed?

I come to this board because it's a group of "friends" that I'm used to talking with, and we all happen to share an interest in the NBA and the Blazers. My posting here doesn't mean I'm excited about the season--it just means I like to talk and hear others talk about the things we have in common.

    I like him! Kind of...

Gordon Geckko and greed. The owners just couldn't stop themselves from ruining the season, even after the players had given them a $3 billion Christmas gift.

I'm a Blazer fan, not an NBA fan, so I'm not really excited about the coming season. I don't think the coaching staff has a plan to actually make the changes that are needed. I don't feel like they have the energy or commitment to make progress like a Chip Kelley might. They dropped their shooting coach years ago, now they don't have a player development coach, they don't really have a big man coach even though there are two young bigs on the team. And of course there is no GM to maybe prod upper management or coaches to do something. The uncertainty about Roy is also leaving me conflicted; i don't have a strong opinion over what to do with him and i don't think management does either so that's not a good situation. But maybe when the games start, some player or even some coach will surprise me and I'll be more optimistic and happier. Who knows, maybe Oden will REALLY surprise us and be a healthy monster! Yes, hope springs eternal! (wow, was this post schizophrenic or what?)

It's just a reflection of being abarod the rudderless, good ship Trailblazers.
