There's an IQ difference involved. Kapp went on to be head coach at Berkeley. Mosca went on to wrestle. Mosca won an award in 1984. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wrestling_Observer_Newsletter_awards#Worst_Television_Announcer
That seemed to be a case of a guy who is a bully and doesn't seem to care about things (because he's a jock and therefore, shouldn't have to), and the other guy who actually thought about others. I hate people who are oblivious to how much of an ass they were. If Angelo really didn't "hold a grudge", he would've taken the flowers (as odd as the gesture was) and be classy about it. And then to act like the other guy swung first? Typical of a bully.
This reminds me of when I was watching Ali and Frazier live before they fought in a press conference, and Ali kept saying he couldn't sing, and Frazier knocked him over, and they wrestled on the ground. We didn't know whether it was staged, but found out that day that it was a real fight. There used to be a lot of live sports filler on national TV, especially for hours and hours on the weekend, like Wide World of Sports. The good old days.
