He is ranked 2nd ALL TIME on the highest ppg totals for the playoffs, He is ranked 3rd ALL TIME for points per game. Am I the only one who finds this amazing?
Wow, this is one of those things that you are shocked to hear but then after you think about are not suprised at all. He ability to score like that on a nightly basis still impresses me, he is a warrior.

Yeah I've already known this for a while. I found it incredible when I saw it for the first time but now it's not as amazing because I try and watch him play whenever I can and I've just seen him score at will so many times its not really suprising to me anymore.
The man CAN score the basketball. Unfortunately, there's not much else he can do besides rack up apg while still hogging the ball, and get some steals while playing mediocre defense. Sorry to say this, but this dude sort of post pads his other stats.

Mckie? </div>don't take away from his accomplishments bc he didn't have scorers around him. He still had the ability to score the second most ppg all-time.

He also has career averages of something like 41% shooting. For me, that totally eradicates his high PPG averages

The only thing I agree with you on is about D.[quote name='nba dogmatist' post='110655' date='Jul 9 2006, 12:57 PM']don't take away from his accomplishments bc he didn't have scorers around him. It really pays of from the attitude he plays with, like hes never going to play again.Hes still a bad ass.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TheAnalyst @ Jul 10 2006, 10:55 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Hes also 42th ever in points scored. He should move into 29th this season.</div>Right now he has 19,115 points for his career. 24th place is 20,941 so if he stays healthy even with out making the playoffs he would be no worse then 24th I would think. This past season he had 2,377 points. I think he can get about 2,000 next season so if that's the case he should be like 24th.
He's still in the prime of his career so its not surprising at all. By the time his end careers i doubt he'll share any of those.
A.I. is a true warrior night in and night out and has had a hal of fame career even if he doesn't get a ring. He will be one of te most underrated players because of that.

He is the focal point of his team & if he knows he can't win a ring philly the he should leave come free agency. I think the Sixers should trade him also. You can't use the excuse that he puts fans in the seats because Philly is 22nd in the league in attendance (I might be wrong).
Yeah, some times I forget that their are players playing right now that rank that high on the "All-Time" lists.Like Jason Kidd:*Ranks 9th on the NBA's all-time assists list with 7,283.*4th on the NBA all-time lists for assists per game (9.3).*Became the sixth fastest NBA player to record 5000 career assists (531 games), as he finished with three points, 15 assists and eight rebounds in 44 minutes at Dallas on 1/21/2002.*Topped 700 assists and 500 rebounds in the same season for the second time in 1997-98, joining Robertson and Magic Johnson (six times each) as the only players in NBA history to do so more than once. (He almost did it again this year, 580 rebounds and 672 assists, he has also almost done it plenty of other times in his career).
