Take the $ out of school sports.

No coaches or AD's paid more than a teacher.

    No sponsors.

No professional scout/agent/coach contact with the students or the schools.

    OR...

Take school sports out of the schools. Real students can concentrate on school.

Let the major sports leagues start and pay for their own colleges.

Football players go to football college. Baseball players go to baseball college. No classes taught there except the sport.

Incredibly misleading title. You'd think from the title the proposal would be something, y'know, transformative. Instead he proposes, basically, to comb their hair and stand up straighter.

Yeah, it was sort of weak. But there is a certain shadiness in college sports that needs to be eradicated. I think a few of his ideas would be positive steps.
