Josh Howard...? Really? I'd rather have Roy's bad knees

Roy was "my guy" in the '06 draft -- which is probably part of the reason I was always down on Tyrus Thomas (not that there weren't plenty of objective reasons to have been down on Tyrus Thomas). The knees concern me but I'd love to have him on my squad. Between Howard and Jamal Crawford (see my thread) I'd rather have Crawford but a Howard signing wouldn't exactly break my heart either. Any of the three would be a significant upgrade at shooting guard.

Thomas was a bonehead pick, in all respects. I was hoping the Bulls would have kept Aldridge and traded up with the Thabo pick (#16, if memory serves me) to get Roy.

At least we should have kept Aldridge, who was ready to play and filled a big hole in the lineup.

I'd be happy with Roy, though the Blazers posters are convinced he's through. With what the Bulls could offer him, dollar-wise, and the new CBA stretch provision, there's little to lose.
