TSA must be dropping the ball, because when I was in Hawaii earlier this month, I didn't have to show my passport upon my re-entry from "Asia".
Ask the average American to delineate the difference between England, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom. I'd wager that 4 of 5 give you a blank stare. The Hawaii in Asia thing, though--that's pretty inexcusable...especially considering the Obama Hawaiian birth certificate controversy.
I'd venture that Bill "Rhodes Scholar" Clinton is probably smarter than Obama. Regardless, the point is knowledge of geographical trivialities is probably less an indicator of presidential competence than the things they crucified Bush for, such as command of the English language. Obama's done plenty of other things during his tenure to earn scrutiny and critique; this is nothing.
Of course it's nothing. It makes him look like a dope, and we know that only GOP Presidents and candidates are dopes. Move along now, time to head to the 57th state...
