The Atlanta Hawks offered Josh Smith, Marvin Williams and/or Al Harrington for Allen Iverson. That is a major steal for the 76ers. Smith averaged 16 ppg, 8 rpg, 4 apg, and 3 bpg the last 20 games of the season and he is only 21 years old. Marvin Williams has tons of potential and Harrington can contribute right now.If I were Billy King, I would pull the trigger on this deal.http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/414..._allen_iverson/

Yeesh, they shouldnt do that. Josh Smith and Marvin Williams are future all stars and both very young still. I dont get why so many people are going after AI. They would have a much better future if they didn't do this trade.

I agree. That would be a horrible trade for you guys. AI is like, what? 31 or 32 now? He's only good for a good 4 or 5 seasons. If you traded the 2 cornerstones of the franchise, youd be no where 5 years from now. The Hawks have a great future in Marv, Josh and Shelden. They're not going to trade their two franchise players for Allen Iverson. Besides, it's clear that AI wouldnt care about winning games, he just plays for personal success. He has a bad attitude too.

Why do you think Iverson works his ass off every single game. He wants to be on a successful team so badly its not even funny. You are really dumber than I thoughtafter reading what you just wrote.

I know sometimes GMs put up a smokescreen, but Ainge isn't dumb enough to offer all that. And i read this earlier, i think philly should definitely accept that offer. Iggy and Smith on the wings would be SICK.

Stop sticking up for your favourite player. If AI wanted to win, he would have gotten it done last year. You can tell he just doesnt care sometimes. He didnt even show up for the last game of the season, he doesnt have a good attitude at all. If he wanted to be on a succesful team he would have done something about it, and he would have stopped playing for himself all the time. He hogs the ball alot, and doesnt give into the team philosophy. Look at Kobe even. When Phil Jackson came in with the triangle, he was pissed. He didnt like it at all. But he gave into what Phil said because he wanted one thing only; and that was to win. And this year too, Kobe did what Phil told him to do. Why do you think there are AI rumours going on? Obviously, the team doesnt like his attitude. Thats why all star players are traded. Because obviously they arent traded because they are great players :dunno: Thankyou. Wanted to get this out.Yeah, I guess Im a moron because I think AI has a bad attitude...

You honestly have no clue about AI. Ever figure that maybe the reason AI didn't demand a trade is because he's loyal to his team. Its not like im the only one who thinks AI cares about winning. I know more than half of the forum will back me up on this.

He certainly doesnt want to sacrifice his stats in oreder to win. Why do you think so many Philly coaches have came and left since 1996? They dont want AI to ballhog, but he refuses to play the team game. The organization has always been on his side because he was a star though. I think they are sick of him and his attitude now though.
