I believe Roy has done his best to give the franchise, the team, and the fans everything owed to them.

I'm certain Roy will get everything owed to him under his contract, to wit: unimaginable (for 99.9999% of the world's population) wealth, whether he plays or not.

I have serious doubts Roy can hold up after a month of NBA pounding.

It appears using amnesty on Brandon may put the Blazers in a position to improve the team, now and in the future.

    Just do it.

No comparison. Kolde gives business advice and tries to do welli. Canzano is a liar who makes up invisible sources who are usually wrong.

I don't care about him getting paid; that's going to happen regardless. I just think it's sad that to get out of his contract, we're going to have to let him go to another team.

I look at it this way. It's not like whatever team he goes to is going to keep us from a title, so who cares. He will be unable to play at an NBA level when we are ready to compete for anything as we are years away from doing so

That's a very good point. But I really doubt that will happen. At least not intentionally.

    Why?

He can't dunk, he can't play defense, he can't participate in a fast break... Nine times out of ten he hurts us when he plays. I feel sorry for the team he might go to.

He still won game 4 for us against Dallas last year. Someone will pay him $5 - $7mil based upon that alone. I hear what you're saying, but he's certainly not a stiff....at least, not yet.
