They traded his ass to the Clippers ... THE CLIPPERS!! And you have the nerve to call him a traitor?!
#Blazers report that no players worked out at the practice facility today. One Blazer has finally arrived into town though: Luke Babbitt.
BlazerFreeman Joe Freeman Apparently Babbitt went through some individual shooting last night at the #Blazers' PF.
What's it been now, three days since the practice facility has been open? A week since the agreement was announced? How long does it take people with very large incomes to get to Portland? For me this is disappointing; does not seem that this team is hungry to play basketball, does not seem they feel any urgency about gelling and improving.
I guess I need to respond to this again, since Kingspeed seems to think this is the gospel! If they had all hurried to Portland then I guess there would be enough players to scrimmage with and they wouldn't need a coach! And even if they played three on three and one of the guys is the new point guard I think they could learn to play with him better! And if they were here where someone was watching them, at least i would know they were actually working out. I have not seen a report that any of them are working out at the special Attack Athletics minicamp or any other specialized skill and strength program. One reason Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were so good was that their bodies were in fantastic shape, they worked out with a personal trainer every day. Are any of the Blazers doing that?
A little strange considering for the past 3-4 years the majority of guys would meet up in August/Sept to workout together. I doubt any other team would meet up so early. That was Roy taking charge and coordinating the informal workouts. Makes me wonder where Roy's head is at.
"I don't wanna get injured like every other year when we wasted our bodies in August instead of November."
It will be interesting to hear if they say that, once the players begin talking to the media. Some sort of explanation would be encouraging. We're not the Packers after all.
I think the same would have happen this year if not for the lockout. I don't see what the problem some people seem to have with the Blazers not being here yet. The lockout just ended, at least none of our players are stuck in China, well except for Mills and he's not a Blazers still is he? I'm sure our players are playing else where and will be here soon enough.
Speaking of Patty, was walking around NYC today and a big group of 6'10 guys in Aussie gear saw my Blazer hat and started yelling Patty Mills at me!
