I've used IE7 to view the site and never seen this issue. It's probably something he has installed or spyware that's messing him up. He really should use Chrome - it's blazingly fast. And IE8 has been out a long time (for XP) and IE9 for Windows 7.
http://code.google.com/chrome/chromeframe/ That works in IE. It replaces Microsoft's rendering engine with the one from Chrome.
I noticed one thing when watching Chris Johnson highlights (all 4 of them). On both of those big blocks he had against Dallas (the one on Dirk and the one on JJ Barea), the whole team started running for the fast break immediately except for Roy. Check it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1YEhXxPXw0 The two blocks are at the end of this specific highlight reel but the video is good so whatever. Sure, maybe Roy was told to take it easy or he was out of position. Either way, if he can't even run full bore like Wallace, Batum, Felton, and Aldridge, are all going to be, I want him outta here imo. Something to look for I suppose.
I refuse to think that the games we lost; which Roy only averaged 10 minutes a game; he was the reason we lost them. Roy has 2 seasons left in him. I suspect after that; he will be worse than what we saw from last season. My dream scenario would be... Roy plays 1 season and does very well. The Blazers win the title and he wins MVP. Roy realizes how much toll it put on his knees and asks for a medical retirement. He is quoted "I just don't see myself playing for any city other than Portland; which is why I am retiring." Then the Blazers offer him an assistant coach job and we live happily ever after. The End.
This season, I expect at a much higher level than last season. Not the Roy of old, but pretty damn close. Then the season after that he will be diminished, but still effective. After that, I would be surprised if he coudl average 15 minutes a game.
IMO that is way overly optimistic, if he stays I expect he looks solid to maybe even good for 2-3 weeks then the gradation of the knees begins and gets worse and worse, likely worse than last year. There is no reason to expect it to be different then that as there is NO cartilage there and it's simply a wearing and worsening process. Sorry but that's the common sense outlook.
You realize who you're responding to, right? For Mags, this is pretty standard optimism. That is his role here, and he fills it well.
